Expanded Showcase: A Deeper Dive into Vintage Treasures

From January 16th to 19th, the Italian Exhibition Group will host an enhanced VO Vintage event at the Vicenza Expo Centre. This iteration boasts a 25% increase in participants compared to the previous September event, featuring 55 distinct exhibitors. Entry to this exciting event is complimentary upon online registration, inviting enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the world of vintage luxury.

A Curated Collection: Jewelry and Timepieces Galore

Visitors to VO Vintage will encounter a diverse selection of items, with 28 premier Italian and international vintage jewelry dealers presenting their finest collections. Concurrently, 27 specialized watch dealers will offer an opportunity to acquire iconic pre-owned timepieces, making it a comprehensive destination for both jewelry and watch aficionados.

Exclusive Exhibition: The Golden Age of GMT-Masters

A highlight of the event for watch enthusiasts will be an exclusive exhibition dedicated to the GMT-Master watches featuring Gilt dials from the period of 1960 to 1967. This unique display will showcase 15 such watches, arranged chronologically and sourced from private collections and dealers. The exhibition will be complemented by historical memorabilia and original advertising materials, providing a rich context to these horological masterpieces.

Engaging Discussions: The States General of Vintage and Watchmaking History

Saturday, January 17th, will be a day of insightful discussions in the Canova Room. The 'States General of Vintage' will gather prominent Italian collectors and experts, including Stefano Mazzariol and Andrea Foffi, to share their perspectives on the collecting landscape. Following this, Professor Guido Pancani from the Fondation Haute Horlogerie will present a compelling 'History of Italian Watchmaking,' tracing its evolution from medieval origins to the modern era. The day concludes with a presentation of the book 'GMT-Master 1675 – The Gilt Era,' offering in-depth analyses of the showcased watches.

Distinguished Dealers: Expertise in Every Piece

The event prides itself on presenting a lineup of highly qualified and knowledgeable dealers. Among the vintage jewelry specialists, attendees will find Zagari, known for their antique-cut diamonds and signed pieces; E.L.A. Antichità, a quarter-century-old institution for antique and vintage jewelry; I Santi Medici, offering period jewelry with rich narratives; and Italian Vintage Jewellery, founded by experienced gemmologists. EL&L Finery, led by Lisa Finkelman van der Plas, will showcase unique European antique collectibles. On the watch side, esteemed dealers like Stefano Mazzariol's Vintage Watches and Antonio Nocco's Il Quadrante will be present, offering a range of covetable timepieces.
