The creative process involves a meticulous layering of four distinct colors: a light gray base, followed by blue, yellow, and red. Each hue is carefully applied, allowed to dry, and precisely masked before the subsequent layer is added, resulting in a vibrant, multi-dimensional finish that evokes the iconic mecha designs of Gundam.
The intricate manual painting process ensures that every camera produced is truly unique, as David dedicates individual attention to each unit. The original camera's sleek and unadorned body serves as an ideal foundation for this artistic endeavor. The customization begins with the careful dismantling of various components, including the viewfinder, shutter, film roller, and control buttons, to prepare a pristine canvas. Upon the completion of the artistic transformation, the camera undergoes a careful reassembly process.
