Ariana Grande Hints at Surprises for 'Eternal Sunshine' Tour

Instructions

Ariana Grande recently provided fans with an update regarding her highly anticipated "Eternal Sunshine" concert series during her appearance at the Critics Choice Awards. She confirmed that significant effort has been dedicated to curating the setlist over several months, with rehearsals for the ambitious show commencing shortly.

Grande maintained a sense of mystery surrounding the specifics of her upcoming performances, preferring to keep the details as a surprise for her audience. When questioned about her personal transformation while touring, she emphasized a consistent identity, expressing profound thankfulness for her career and keen anticipation for the tour's commencement.

The tour is scheduled to commence in June with initial dates in Oakland, California, followed by engagements in Los Angeles at the Crypto.com Arena and Kia Forum. Additional stops include Austin, her hometown of Sunrise, Florida, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Boston, and Montreal. The North American leg will conclude with two performances in Chicago before the tour heads across the Atlantic for five nights at London's O2 Arena.

Mirroring her "Sweetener" world tour from 2019, the forthcoming concert series will showcase material from two distinct albums: "Eternal Sunshine" and "Positions," her R&B release from late 2020. Grande humorously admitted that her initial contemplation of integrating two albums into the tour was a way to prolong the creative process, ultimately leading to this comprehensive musical journey.

In a notable disclosure last November, Grande indicated that this tour might be her final extensive series of performances for the foreseeable future. During an interview on Amy Poehler's "Good Hang" podcast, she mentioned a significant shift in her career focus over the next decade, suggesting that while she wouldn't make definitive statements, this tour represents a substantial commitment. She views it as a "last hurrah," promising to invest her utmost effort to make it a memorable and beautiful experience for all attendees.

Furthermore, following the conclusion of her tour, Grande is set to appear in "Focker In-Law," the fourth installment in the "Meet the Parents" film franchise. She will star alongside returning cast members Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner, and Teri Polo, marking her return to the big screen.
